How to Share Your Badge

Sharing your badges can be a great way to display your qualifications and achievements with your colleagues and your professional network. You can share your badge in a variety of ways. This guide will show you how to share your badge via a link, social media, or HTML embedding. 

Sharing badges in Badgr

1. Log into your Badgr profile and click on Backpack at the top of the page
2. Find the badge you would like to share and select the Share button

You will have the option to share your badge via a link, on social media, or by embedding the badge via HTML code.

Sharing by link

1. Select the Link tab in the sharing dialogue box
2. If you want to include your email on the public badge page make sure the Include Recipient Identifier box is checked
3. Click on the Copy button
4. Paste the URL where you would like to share the link to your public badge page

Sharing by social media

1. Select the Social tab in the share dialogue box
2. If you want to include your email on the public badge page make sure the Include Recipient Identifier box is checked
3. Click on the button of the social media platform on which you would like to share your badge
4. You may be prompted to log into your social media profile before sharing the badge

Sharing by EMBED

1. Select the HTML tab in share dialogue box
2. Select the version of the badge you would like to share
   1. CARD view provides more context when sharing the badge
   2. BADGE view provides the image of the badge
   3. Both sharing options will contain the metadata associated with the badge
3. Click on the Copy button
4. Paste the embed code wherever HTML is allowed
