Satellite Building Access and Security

Things to Know:

Your Region 13 employee badge is required to access the building and its interior. Alternatively, you may use the Verkada app from your mobile device.

Our Recommendation: Unlock doors temporarily each morning for participants to enter by double-tapping exterior/interior readers. These doors will automatically relock at 12pm.
- Example: Double-tap at 8:45AM to unlock doors for a 9AM class. Double-tap again at 9:15AM to relock doors after everyone has arrived. You can repeat the same process for participants leaving/returning for mid-day/lunch break.

Single Badge Tap
- Unlocks an exterior or interior door for single-entry.
- Door will relock after 10 seconds.

Double Badge Tap
- Exterior Doors-
  - Double-tap exterior doors at anytime to relock them.
  - Morning (before 12pm): Double-tap will unlock exterior doors until 12 PM.
    - Tap, wait for a single beep, tap again, wait for a series of beeps. Flashing lights indicate the door is unlocked.
  - Afternoon (after 12pm): Double-tap will unlock exterior doors until 5 PM.
    - Tap, wait for a single beep, tap again, wait for a series of beeps. Flashing lights indicate the door is unlocked.
- Interior Doors-
  - Double-tap will unlock interior doors until 5 PM.
    - Tap, wait for a single beep, tap again, wait for a series of beeps.
    - Green lights indicate the door is unlocked.

General Amenities:

Kitchen:
- Fridge, freezer, water dispenser, ice machine, coffee maker, cappuccino machine.
- Disposable plates, utensils, coffee pot scrubbers, dish soap, and sponges.

Front Office space:
- General office supplies, power wheels/extension cords, USB-C adapters, and more are available at each location.
Printer/Copier/Scanner:
- Send print jobs to “Spice Rack” and use your badge to access the machine (same as at TTC).
