Using the Logitech Rally Bar
- Connect the HDMI Cable
- Plug the HDMI cable from the Logitech Rally Bar into your laptop’s HDMI port. This cable is used to connect the TV to the laptop for video display.
- If your laptop lacks an HDMI port, use an adapter (e.g., USB-C to HDMI or Mini DisplayPort to HDMI).
- Connect the USB Cable
- Plug the USB cable from the Logitech Rally Bar into a USB port on your laptop. This cable connects the laptop to the Logitech Rally Bar for camera, microphone, and speaker functionality.
- Switch the TV Input
- Use the TV remote to select the HDMI input corresponding to the port the Logitech Rally Bar is connected to.
- Verify the Connection
- Confirm that your laptop display is mirrored on the TV.
Setting the Logitech Rally Bar as the Default Camera, Microphone, and Speaker
For Zoom:
- Open the Zoom app.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to the Video tab:
- Under the "Camera" dropdown, select Logitech Rally Bar.
- Navigate to the Audio tab:
- Under the "Speaker" dropdown, select Logitech Rally Bar.
- Under the "Microphone" dropdown, select Logitech Rally Bar.
- Use the Test Speaker and Microphone option to verify functionality.
For Microsoft Teams:
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Click on your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings > Devices.
- Under the "Audio devices" section:
- Set Speaker to Logitech Rally Bar.
- Set Microphone to Logitech Rally Bar.
- Under the "Camera" section:
- Select Logitech Rally Bar from the dropdown menu.
- Use the Make a test call feature to confirm.
For Other Video Conferencing Apps:
- Go to the app's Settings or Preferences menu.
- Locate the Audio/Video or Devices section.
- Select Logitech Rally Bar for:
- Camera
- Microphone
- Speaker
Additional Tips:
- Update Zoom Before Meetings: Ensure you update the Zoom app prior to meetings to ensure the best results.
- Ensure Proper Volume Settings: Check that your laptop is not muted and adjust the volume as needed.
- Adapter Compatibility: Use compatible adapters for HDMI if your laptop requires one.
