Using the Logitech Rally Bar

  1. Connect the HDMI Cable
    1. Plug the HDMI cable from the Logitech Rally Bar into your laptop’s HDMI port. This cable is used to connect the TV to the laptop for video display.
    2. If your laptop lacks an HDMI port, use an adapter (e.g., USB-C to HDMI or Mini DisplayPort to HDMI).
  2. Connect the USB Cable
    1. Plug the USB cable from the Logitech Rally Bar into a USB port on your laptop. This cable connects the laptop to the Logitech Rally Bar for camera, microphone, and speaker functionality.
  3. Switch the TV Input
    1. Use the TV remote to select the HDMI input corresponding to the port the Logitech Rally Bar is connected to.
  4. Verify the Connection
    1. Confirm that your laptop display is mirrored on the TV.

Setting the Logitech Rally Bar as the Default Camera, Microphone, and Speaker

For Zoom:

  1. Open the Zoom app.
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
  3. Navigate to the Video tab:
    1. Under the "Camera" dropdown, select Logitech Rally Bar.
  4. Navigate to the Audio tab:
    1. Under the "Speaker" dropdown, select Logitech Rally Bar.
    2. Under the "Microphone" dropdown, select Logitech Rally Bar.
  5. Use the Test Speaker and Microphone option to verify functionality.

For Microsoft Teams:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click on your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings > Devices.
  4. Under the "Audio devices" section:
    1. Set Speaker to Logitech Rally Bar.
    2. Set Microphone to Logitech Rally Bar.
  5. Under the "Camera" section:
    1. Select Logitech Rally Bar from the dropdown menu.
  6. Use the Make a test call feature to confirm.

For Other Video Conferencing Apps:

  1. Go to the app's Settings or Preferences menu.
  2. Locate the Audio/Video or Devices section.
  3. Select Logitech Rally Bar for:
    1. Camera
    2. Microphone
    3. Speaker

Additional Tips:

  • Update Zoom Before Meetings: Ensure you update the Zoom app prior to meetings to ensure the best results.
  • Ensure Proper Volume Settings: Check that your laptop is not muted and adjust the volume as needed.
  • Adapter Compatibility: Use compatible adapters for HDMI if your laptop requires one.
